Charlie Mitchell’s family plumbing business

Grandview's Plumbing Experts is how Lonestar Plumbing & Backhoe Service puts it, and the business is family owned and operated, and locally owned. Charlie has plumbed in the Grandview, TX area for over 40 years, and the backhoe is how the crew gets to a broken sewer line without tearing up your slab.

There is always a licensed plumber on every job.

Charlie's licenses, in the order he earned them

He's been in plumbing since 1974. These are the dates, straight from the shop's own history.

  1. 1974

    Starts in the plumbing industry

Charlie Mitchell's first year in the trade. Everything after this line is built on it.

  2. 1976

    Journeyman's License

Two years in, he earns his Journeyman's License.

  3. 1980

    Master's License

Four years after the Journeyman's, the Master's License.

  4. 2004

    Backflow Inspector License

The license behind backflow testing and repair, which the shop does for commercial buildings.

  5. Today

    Still the family business

Residential and commercial plumbing, water heaters, sewer hydrojetting, video inspection and gas lines, with 24-hour emergency service. Start with residential plumbing in older Grandview homes if you aren’t sure where your problem fits.

Why a plumber owns a backhoe

In the shop’s own words: “Don’t use evasive jackhammer services. Instead, rely on us to repair broken sewer lines efficiently with our tunneling and excavation services.”

A camera run down the line shows where the pipe failed, so the dig goes to that spot and nowhere else.
